For months, I’ve been pouring countless hours into something that’s been a dream of mine for a long time: building my own website completely from the ground up.

My Ruthie Tabone Website Is Officially Live!
Launching this website is so much more than simply putting products online. It’s the beginning of a new chapter for my business and something I’ve envisioned for years.
There were many late nights, long weekends, and plenty of moments where I wondered if I’d ever actually reach the finish line. Building a website involves so much more than most people realize.
So Much More Than Just Adding Products
Creating this website meant wearing a lot of different hats.
Over the past several months I have spent countless hours:
- Designing new handmade earrings
- Photographing every product
- Editing hundreds of photos
- Writing product descriptions
- Organizing collections
- Learning the technical side of running an e-commerce website
- Writing helpful blog posts
- Setting up categories and navigation
- Making sure every page looked clean and easy to use
- Double-checking all of the little details before launching
As someone who loves creating jewelry, learning website design and e-commerce certainly pushed me outside my comfort zone. There were days when I felt like I was making great progress, and other days when I felt like every small change created three new things to figure out.
But every challenge was worth it.
Why Building My Own Website Was So Important
For a long time, many of my products were sold through vendor events, social media, and a little bit of Etsy.
While I’m incredibly grateful for those opportunities, I wanted to create a place that truly reflected my business and my brand.
I wanted a space where customers could easily browse my collections, learn about how I make each piece, read educational blog posts, and shop whenever it was convenient for them.
Most importantly, I wanted one place that felt like home for everything I create.
More Than Handmade Jewelry
One thing that’s incredibly important to me is quality.
Every pair of earrings is designed and handmade by me using carefully selected hypoallergenic materials because I want people with sensitive ears to be able to wear my jewelry comfortably.
I also take an extra step that many people don’t even realize, I weld every jump ring on my earrings for added strength and durability. It takes additional time, but it’s something I believe makes a difference. I want my jewelry to last, and I pay attention to the little details that often go unnoticed.
When you purchase from me, you’re not receiving something mass-produced. You’re receiving something that has been thoughtfully designed, carefully assembled, inspected by hand, and created with pride.
This Is Only the Beginning
Although today marks the official launch, the Ruthie Tabone website is far from finished.
I’ll continue adding:
- New handmade earring collections
- Seasonal designs
- Personalized gifts
- Blog posts answering common jewelry questions, permanent jewelry questions, and virtual interior design questions
- Behind-the-scenes content
- New products as they’re released
My goal is to make this website a place people enjoy visiting again and again, whether they’re shopping for themselves, searching for a unique gift, or simply looking for inspiration.
