First things first: Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas from the Tabones! It’s that time of year where you get tons and tons of cards in the mail and send yours to your friends and loved ones. My go-to place for holiday cards and announcements is minted.com. I have used their cards for the past two years and they have been so beautiful and their quality is impeccable. Last year we combined our Christmas cards with our daughter’s birth announcement.
To start, you can choose from a variety of designs. You can scroll through holiday designs, Christmas cards, Hanukkah cards and many more! I went with one of the foil pressed designs. You can easily upload any of your photos into the premade designs. From there you can arrange a collage or change the font or text. Once you have the front of your card prepared you can then also change the Silhouette™ Shape if you want rounded edges or a design cut out on the edges. You can also change the type of paper you use. You can choose from their signature paper to recycled paper to even TripleThick™ paper. On our specific design, I was also able to choose the color of the foil. On all of the foil designs, you can choose from gold, silver, rose gold, glittery gold or glittery silver.
The next step is to design the back of your card. You can choose from a blank, solid or pattern background. From there you can add more text, photo or a collage of photos. We added a couple of pictures with text about what is going on with our family.
Once you have the back of your card made the last part is to design the envelope. You can choose from a white envelope, speckled craft envelope or a silver envelope. You can also add a gold, silver, gold glitter or coordinating liner to the inside of your envelope. My favorite part that minted offers is addressing your envelopes for you! This saves you sooooo much time! You can choose the coordinating design for the front of your envelope or choose from a large number of designs. And it’s free of charge!

Another feature you can add is to have your return label added to the envelope as well. And last but not least you can even make custom stamps with a photo on it! It’s a one-stop shop for your Holiday cards!
Now I know today is Christmas but you still have time to send out your New Year cards. We’ve done that a couple of years where we were a little behind on our to-do list. 🙂 Sending out cards during the Holidays is a great way to connect with family and friends. Not many people send things through snail mail these days so it’s always nice to receive multiple cards in the mail during the Holiday season.
I hope everyone has a beautiful Christmas day with friends and family. We are sitting here playing some board games and playing with our Christmas toys and listening to Christmas music! Merry Christmas!

Your cards are beautiful!!!
