Knowing My Baby is Safe - www.ruthietabone.com

There are so many worries when it comes to taking care of your baby.  I know that I am always worried and hoping my little girl is safe and sound.  I love all of the new technology and products that are on the market right now to help keep your little one safe.  One of my current favorites is the breathable crib mattress by ABC Safe Sleep.  (previously Secure Beginnings.)

As Gabi has learned to roll over she has discovered how she likes to sleep on her tummy.  I will find during nap time that she has turned over.  This mattress gives me peace of mind that she is safe when she is sleeping.  She is gaining good head control but you can never be too safe.

It’s very easy to set it up when it arrives in the mail.  All you have to do is ensure the brackets are secure and then put your sleep surface onto the base bars.  What I love about it is it zips underneath and you can zip it more for a firmer sleep surface or unzip it so it’s a little softer for your little one.  I’ve learned Gabi likes it better when it’s unzipped partially as it makes it a little bit cushier.

You can purchase multiple sleep surfaces if one gets dirty from your little one.  They can be thrown right into the washing machine and are ready for the baby’s next sleep.  I have a pink one and a white one and I love how they both look with the decor in my daughter’s room.  The bases are made out of recycled milk cartons and can be wiped up easily if your baby makes a little mess.

The base fits great into our crib.  It feels very secure and I’m also very happy with how it looks.  It’s not your typical looking mattress yet it looks modern.  The best part of it all is the mesh-like sleep surface. This is what is so great about it.  I’ve laid my daughter down to bed and then shortly after noticed she had rolled over and was even laying face down into the mattress.  If she was on a regular mattress I would be worried but not with this mattress because it’s a safe breathable crib mattress.Knowing My Baby is Safe - www.ruthietabone.comKnowing My Baby is Safe - www.ruthietabone.com

Overall I’m very happy with this mattress and would recommend it to anyone.  I tend to worry more than the average Mommies out there and this mattress really eases my mind.  If you really want to invest in a mattress this is the way to go! A happy wife equals a happy life….or in this case, a happy and less anxious Mommy also makes for a happy baby!Knowing My Baby is Safe - www.ruthietabone.comKnowing My Baby is Safe - www.ruthietabone.com

MEET RUTHIE

mother holding baby in the air and going for a kiss

My name is Ruthie, I was born and raised in the Midwest.  I met the man of my dreams in Nashville, TN and decided to follow him back home to California.  First came love, then came marriage, then came the baby in the baby carriage.  My husband got a new job when my daughter was 2 months old and we packed up and moved halfway across the country to Minnesota, back to my homeland. We now have two beautiful little girls.
