Margarita Birthday Bar with Wayfair

Well today is my birthday and this weekend I celebrated in style!  My favorite drink is a margarita so what better than some cold margaritas on a beautiful, warm day?!  I also enjoy decorating so it was a lot of fun putting together this bar cart with my favorite summer beverage!

I’ve always loved the way bar carts add to a dining room space.  A while ago I redid an IKEA Rast and I love how it looked in my dining room and it provided great storage.  Although, I wanted a true bar cart for our dining area.  I moved the IKEA Rast to the kitchen and added this beauty to my dining room.  I wanted the bar cart to be more of a decorative piece rather than storage.

Back to my margarita bar!! I decided to do three different flavors of margaritas.  I went with classic lime, mango and strawberry.  There was a dipping station to add salt to your rim and fruit garnishes to add to your drink!

I placed each different flavor into carafes so that it had a more pleasant look to the cart.  When designing a themed bar cart or table it’s always better to put drinks or garnishes in bowls, pitches, cups etc.!  It was so fun to also include my margarita glasses that I got for a wedding present almost 6 years.  Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ve ever used them all before so it was fun to get them out of the cupboard where they collect dust!  (Don’t worry I washed them! :))

The bar cart station is all set up for me and my friends to enjoy!  Now here’s to a great 33rd birthday spent with my family and friends!  Life is good!
