5th Wedding Anniversary: Celebrating with JORD Wood Watches

This past weekend was my husband and I’s 5th wedding anniversary.  I can’t believe we have been married for 5 years but then again it feels like we have been together forever.  It was quite the eventful anniversary as we ended up in the hospital for the day but thankfully all is good and everyone is healthy! 🙂  I’ll fill you all in more detail next week.

For our 1st year, my husband got me tickets to the Tour of Gymnastics Champions.  I’m a huge gymnastics fan so it was fun to go watch the Fierce Five from the 2012 Olympics show their skills.  I got my husband cigars and a travel humidor.  Last year, on our 4th anniversary, we decided to go with the modern theme because we were in need of new appliances in our kitchen.  I never knew I’d be so excited about appliances and that I was given them as a gift!

This year, our 5th anniversary, the theme was wood.  This one was a little tough and I couldn’t decide what to give my husband.  I thought about a wood sign with our names and our wedding date but I wasn’t sure that was something he would really like.  A woman might love it but maybe not a man. 🙂  I came across these amazing wood watches by JORD and absolutely loved their selection.  My husband loves watches and I thought this would be the perfect gift!

I have had an amazing 5 years of marriage to this man and I couldn’t ask for a better husband and father to our little girl…soon to be two little girls.  He is our rock and I love to treat him and let him know he is special and loved.  This watch was just a small token of my appreciation for all he does for our family.  It’s been 5 years of marriage but 8 years together.  I’m lucky to have married my best friend and true love.

I’d highly recommend these amazing watches if you are looking for a present for your fifth anniversary or just any gift for a loved one!  They are great watches for men and women.  Wood is a tough anniversary theme but this way with the watch it can be worn and used all the time, where other wood gifts maybe not as often.
