For those that missed my post two weeks ago, I am participating in a monthly DIY challenge called, At Home DIY. Each month there is a different theme. February was all about organization and storage.

I wanted to feature a few of the amazing DIY shelves that were made by other talented bloggers. I’m always so impressed by the talent of my fellow bloggers.

First, I wanted to share the shelves I built on our old IKEA Kallax. I really wanted somewhere to store all of our stereo equipment, Blu-ray Player, Wii, and Fire TV Cube. (Which btw, the Fire TV Cube is amazing! We just got it!)

All of these DIY shelves are pretty amazing! I love how each one is unique and I want them all in my home! You can never have too much storage, in my opinion!

I love how Sherry used boards from an old bunk bed to make these quick and easy shelves. I did a similar thing with shelves that were left at our house when we moved in. Set them up in our laundry room and have all the cans sitting side-by-side. So much easier to find what you need!

How amazing are these shelves?! I have floating shelves in my bathroom and always struggle getting them to sit correctly. This tutorial is great because most homes, especially if it's a little older, don't ever seem to have straight walls. At least my house doesn't. 🙂 She shares how to work around that little annoyance.

Which one is your favorite?! I would love to have better organization in my closet. It’s a mess and pretty small for both my husband and I. One of these systems would help us out a ton!
