Super Bowl Party Female Style
The big football celebration is just around the corner and I wanted to change things up a bit and do an all-girls party! I love celebrating the game with men but why not do it differently this year and make it a pretty party! What is more girly than the color pink?! My girls’ football themed party is all pink and girly and perfect in my opinion!
I’m lucky enough to be working with MARS and Wrigley again on this collaboration and I love how I’ve had to create multiple styles of decor for the holidays and celebrations.
Ice Cream Cake
I’m excited to share with you a family recipe with a MARS/Wrigley twist that is super delicious! My husband’s family introduced me to this yummy ice cream cake recipe. What is fun about it is you can change whatever you’d like to the base of the cake and toppings to your personal likings. This time around I started by making my favorite cookie recipe. These cookies are seriously amazing and everyone always wants me to bake them. You can find the recipe here….I substituted M&M’s for chocolate chips.
Step 1 – Cookie Base
After the cookies had cooled and hardened a little bit (they don’t get too hard because they are chewy) I put them into my food processor and chopped them up. I melted a stick of butter and added them to the chopped cookies so that it would create a moldable crust. Pack it into the bottom of your pan tightly.
Step 2 – Layer with Fudge
After your cookie crumbles are secured at the bottom of your pan, spread a jar of hot fudge on top of the cookies. Drizzle around the cake and even it out.
Step 3 – Add the Ice Cream
Let it cool and set in the freezer for a good 6 hours or so. I made this portion before bed the other night and let it freeze overnight. Once I woke up the next morning I set the ice cream out on the counter to thaw a little so it would be moldable. Tip: When buying your ice cream of choice I’d advise getting the boxed ice cream so you can rip the box off and cut it into sections.
Step 4 – Drizzle Caramel & Fudge on Top
Cut it into equal sections on top of the frozen crust and hot fudge and then smooth it out with a spoon. I then added some yummy caramel and chocolate drizzle on top of the ice cream.
Step 5 – Add Candy Topping
Now for the “icing on the cake” is some yummy Snickers. I put two handfuls into my food processor and chopped them up into small pieces.
Sprinkle it onto the top of your cake and then freeze the cake for about another 2-3 hours! Then it’s ready to serve! It’s super quick and easy besides the freezing time but TOTALLY worth it!
It’s absolutely delicious and I couldn’t wait to put it on my girly super bowl table and share it with my girls! I wanted my table to be beautiful but fun for the big game so I went with the pink theme.
Pink Super Bowl Party
To add some decor to the party, I started with spray painting a few wooden pieces I came across pink to make some footballs for the table.
I used some oil based markers to draw on the football lines.
I started the table with a white table cloth and added a fun gold polkadot table runner that I got from the dollar bin! Pink was the perfect theme for this table as I was able to find so many adorable pink items because of Valentine’s Day coming up. I love how the table turned out with the varying heights of drinks and food and decor. It’s so fun to do it up in a girly way!
How delicious do the ice cream cake pieces look? It was very tempting not to eat them right away. 🙂
I didn’t want to just serve ice cream cake so I made some fun football themed cheese and crackers and chips and salsa of course.
What a fun little party for my girlfriends and I and now you can throw your own girlfriend Super Bowl Party too! What is your theme for this year’s Super Bowl Party?

Everything looks delicious, Ruthie! For the super bowl in my neighborhood all the wives go to one house & the husbands go to another. The women always end up staying out later than the men, always a fun time!

Roxanne that’s amazing!! I may have to suggest that to my neighbors! I love the switch in homes! 🙂
